Brother-sergeant Godfrey is done.
It was great picking up my brushes again. I took my time and just enjoyed the process.
I thought for a while doing them in the old scheme but decided against it.
I blame Migs and his wonderful display of metal 😉
Now my metals aren’t even close but I’m still very pleased with how it all came out.

Yeah, you’ve nailed the scripture. The whole thing is just wonderfully gothic and over the top. I’m particularly enjoying these as grubby, battle-worn fanatics, as opposed to the shiny heroic Grey Knights the studio produces. I can’t abide to see someone cleaning their armour when they could be smiting the neverborn with the Emperor’s righteousness!
