Rushing ahead and scouting for the Violet Dagger..
The speeder is coming along and I quite like the rider.
I took cues from episode 7 and added storage on the sides.
Made sense as Hepit will often be far away from own supplies.
Superb! Only thing I don’t quite fancy is the stuck on Aquila at the top. Would be much classier bolted on the side flat with the chassis. Both sides 🙂
Cheers Migs 🙂 Valid point, I must find another one and I can change it.
Or replace it with a brass etched one from FW. that will bend.
That’s a great idea as I’ve been uncertain on where to source the right bits.
This is great! It gives a sense of heavy momentum, and the front end looks so brutally blunt. I can’t imagine much would be able to stand in his way and live to tell the tale.
Cheers 😀 I think the blunt shape helps to sell it as an imperial vehicle but it must be a difficult ride I’d imagine.
[…] Seeing the new Star Wars movie and Rey I was so inspired I made my own speeder for my Sisters. More on Hepit the Storm Rider here. […]
