I’ve said how cool these guys are in their individual posts, and that handler is the icing on the Kronenburg cake. (It’s like a Battenburg cake, but made of flesh and skin.)
Gives those mutants an event more disturbing hook, as there might be just a tattered shred of their humanity in there, fighting against the murder-urges of the gene-beasts that have consumed them.
