My oldest son (10y) has assembled and painted his first Space Marines all by himself. I’m quite impressed truth be told!
As I’ve mentioned before I have three boys and last year I bought a hobby starter kit and some Space Marines for my oldest son.
Now my two other boys wants in as well so I’ve had to promise starter kits for them as well. All very fun as I’ve never actively tried to recruit them but instead letting their own interests fuel what they do.
That’s a great start of the year in my book 🙂

Haha excellent. I have three daughters (12, 8 and 2). We are currently all (Apart from the 2 year old) painting a zombie each (54mm). Actually my wife has joined in too. It’s a family activity. I think I’m a long way off getting them as obsessed as I am though. I have nephews who keep asking me to bring all my models and terrain around to their place though hehe. Have fun. He’s done a good job too!

Yeah, those beat my first models right enough. He’s even been brave enough to do the eyes and try a little freehand on the tabard (I still have to settle my nerves before I do the eyes). Better watch over your shoulder mate or littlebossredskullz will be overtaking you! 😉
Aye I’m definitely worried! He’s ten and I didn’t start painting before I was 12 😀
