I’ve already talked about what’s behind me and if memory serves me right I’ve at least hinted at what’s in store. Here’sĀ what I’m planning for the coming year.
For the first time in years I don’t have an army project in line. It’s a rather strange feeling as armies are without a doubt a staple in our hobby but I’m going to contend myself with the armies I already own which are pretty high standard within the table top scale.
I will however do several smaller projects and see where they lead. I’m generally more in the “where the wind blows” mindset these days so I may lead you astray in a WiP string of miniatures that will potentially be a dead end. I think that may have occurred a few times already.. š
Realm of Chaos (Age of Sigmar)
I started with the Tomb Kings project originally for the national tournament in Norway but all things considered I couldn’t go this year.
Next in line will instead be a warband sized project with a Realm of Chaos twist using AoS as a template. I’m thinking this will be the project that finally solves the tzeentch riddle for me and as such I’ve got some models inbound that I got for Christmas.
The return of Specialist Games
This is something I’m very excited for! Obviously since my hobby interests has evolved a bit š
Hopefully not too much is released at the same time as that would literally break the bank..! Inquisitior, Necromunda, Blood Bowl and BFG interests me the most but Mordheim is pretty close of making the list.
Conclusion is that either way I’m in š
INQ28
Well I don’t play it (yet) but this is the frame I work in generally now. Frame as a mental reference and where I take my primary inspiration from. Per now it’s full focus on the Chapter 666 project but I’m already contemplating another one so I get some villains. That’s all I’m willing to share at the moment so stay tuned š
General improvement
I took some pretty good steps forward last year and I plan on continuing that trend this year. No airbrush though! š

That’s the rough outline for what’s in line 2016 – I hope you the reader have the patience to stick with me for another year š

I look forward to seeing how the year unfolds for you. I’m relatively new to the blog world so reading people’s “look back 2015” posts and “look forward 2016” posts has been an interesting way in getting to know everyone and what they’re up to SLASH in to. I bet it does feel weird not having any armies in mind to paint. I’ve got so many projects/armies lined up. My big goal for this year is to finish what I start. I tend to get sidetracked quite easily. I am easily inspired. Not a bad thing I guess because I get so much joy out of the process more so than the result. I hope all that makes sense. It’s well past my bed time haha.
Thank you š
Well I’m quite new as well as this is my first proper year of blogging despite my fairly high number of posts (240ish I think). But I do agree, the “look backs- and forwards” are generally great and it can often sway you into adding new blogs to your sub list š
Well I’m looking forward on seeing your own year unfold and remember – distractions is the vice common for us plastic crackers š
