Ye all behold – even more painted models within a month?!
So this team was not planned. I have been playing with my dwarf team for a few seasons but with a lackluster showing. I just couldn’t get a good grasp of the team.
I then had the #bloodbowl28 challenge where I made a Nurgle team that I never painted.
Probably should get those painted soon, they’re cooler than I could remember š
But yeah, not doing well with the dwarfs, not finishing the Nurgle team and then ending up playing a bit with my old Undead team. Great team but the custom minis and paintjob is really dated now! Had a plan of spiffing up the paintjob but then I started to meddle with the statistics on our league page, AnBBL and the results really surprised me;
These are my coach statistics after 13 years (and still running) with league play. Despite not the best win ratio I am very proud of my casualities ratio. You know there will be blood when playing against me š
But the point is that it got me thinking that a return to Chaos Dwarfs would be great fun and it was after all still my top rated race.
In addition I wanted to recreate a bit of the wacky fun from these;
I mean how can you not love those š
I have no WiPs but basically I used the new Blood Bowl halflings with some blight kings bits as chaos dwarf blockers.
A few of my old hobgoblins from my big hat/big nose chaos dwarf army was repurposed as I really liked them. A combo of skaven and goblin bits.
Wilhelminiatures or rather Helge as I call him ( š¤£) gave me a couple of these snails he sculpted and casted as the basis for the Bull Centaurs. I cut off the top of the snail, used ungor bodies, blight king bits and halfling head = jobs’ a’ good ‘un!
As for the minotaur I used one of my fav ogre models (the entire oop Golgfag crew is gold) with a few new bits to spiff him up.
Finally, here’s the end result with the entire team;
Not a full roster but I don’t see the need for it.
The team is dark and twisted but with a hint of that good old humour more prevalent in prior editions of BB š
Hope you like ’em and feel free to leave a comment š

Cheers Dave š
Brilliant š
Cheers Alex š
Love ’em! Dark, twisted and just a tiny bit silly – what more could you ask from a Chaos dwarf? š
Cheers! Yes why be so serious (pun intended) š
Chaos Dwarves get my vote too.
Cheers,
Pete.
Thank you Pete!
