Blood Pact #6

If you follow me on Instagram you’ve probably seen glimpses of my Bovem-tank.

Basically a massive bio tank from the unlucky genetically enhanced abhumans that “contributed” to it.

The Bovem-tank operator wear a mockery of a bull head as helmet.

The co-axial gun is linked with the big bio-cannon.

The base beast, atrophied head still attached.

The apparatus on its back is for powering the gun and the other bio-mechanical weapons.

Scale shot and showing some of the greenstuff work that went into this.

Would love to hear your thoughts on this πŸ™‚

Damn mate – what a monster! A brute worthy of Khorne. That Boneripper kit is huge isn’t it – I keep forgetting how much bigger it is than the old metal version! I guess you won’t need to worry about anyone saying your brute is a little on the short side now πŸ˜‰

    • Thank you πŸ˜€
Yeah it is absolutely a monster and I knew I had to have it when I saw it the first time. I also feel that it fits really well with the theme I have going here and adds literally tons of muscle!
No they won’t, he ate them πŸ˜‚

Brutal! A fantastic conversion and so much crazy character. You truly bring the chaos to life.

Marvelous idea and fantastic execution. What are your thoughts of the pintle mounted gun on the shoulder? Is that something someone would use by standing on the creatures shoulder? It is a little too far from the cupola the commander is looking out of for easy use. Maybe the daemon itself controls it?

A lot of the skaven monstrosities are awesome kits with great conversion potential. For a while I had been considering trying to convert some Dark Eldar grotesque models from skaven stuff.

    • Thank you Adam! It’s a lever on the one side of the mount which can lower the position and bring the gun within reach of the operator. Now it’s in “driving position”.
I also have one of those ogre sized skaven with a ton of weapons that I’ll put to use in something πŸ™‚
I like that idea as the DE grotesques aren’t really my fancy.
