Got an idea to freehand something on the shield so went with the obvious motif.
Skulls and half a khorne icon
Was a bit uncertain if it would be too clean for my gritty Pact but the kind people of Instagram assured me that it was OK.
Think I’ll do more freehand. It’s an area I am lacking.
I really caked the mace in blood. I can’t imagine that thing not be plastered in it.
There you have it! Thoughts on the freehand and Uldun in general?

These guys look great! The freehand is really nice too. They have a gritty style that really fits the Pact. I really like the fluorescent orange of the one’s bionic eye too.

I watched a YouTube the other day that suggested drawing them on with a fine liner and then dry rushing very watered down skin tone paint over the top. I reckon I’ll give that a try.

The freehand on the shield is great, but the screaming metal faceplate on the other guy is frightening.

Nailed the freehand. Really brings it together IMO, makes the rest of it look gritty rather than messy. Keep ’em coming mate, I’ve got high hopes you can do for Khorne what you’ve already done for Tzeentch 🙂
