In the shadow of titans that dims the sunshine of our day,
As, greed-impelled, they circle threateningly,
Watching the toilers with malignant eyes,
They swoop in for the spoil in certain might,
They beat us to surrender weak with fright,
Tugging and tearing without let or pause..

Continuing on the bird theme I established with the Lord of Carrion;
I wanted to have some knights as small birds hovering around. Note I actually tried making some a Firelord and some Doom Wings but it didnt look too cool lets leave it at that..
I only had a box of Questoris knights but using tzangor lower bodies and some choice Kairic Acolyte bitz i managed to get fairly close to the Cerastus pattern I was aiming for.
As with my other titans I still have a lot of tidying to do but you get the general gist of the look I am aiming for.
As far as weaponry goes I went with what I felt looked cool and which would fill the role I envisioned them having in my Legio.
Meaning nothing there are rules for now in AT.
For more background on what my thoughts are on more narrative driven gaming (which Risi Vortapt will be), this article is still very vallid.
Considering using some of the texture techniques I’ve been experimenting with recently on my Legio. Could fit the theme of derelict titans forced into service again.
Also in the works will be some of the most serious terrain building and painting I have done in ages. I already have two of of these;
And will buy at least one of these as well;
Should become a good playground for the fallen Legios in Risi Vortapt.
But first I need to wrap up my warhounds. It has been a struggle tbh but I think a solution is near..

They look great, can’t wait to see them painted up
Thank you!
Cracking work. Really like what you’ve done with them.
Cheers,
Pete.
Cheers Pete!
The bird scheme is cool man
Cheers mate!
Cool! Very interesting outline on these mate – reminds me of something I can’t quite put my finger on… I’m looking forward to seeing them painted!
Cheers Alex!
Well I guess they’re quite close to the Gundam mechs 🤔
These are ace, very Tzeentchian and weird. Definitely something I’ll be filing away in my brain for the day I crumble and decided to explore AT myself! Curious to see what you do with the terrain as well.
Nothing to wait for. It is glorious 😍
Cheers BTW 😅
Yeah, but it’s expensive and I keep spending my money on other things 😦 (mostly other miniatures of course! 😉 )
It is but with the way the game works it still feels worth it. I used 5-6 months just buying stuff one box at a time as my hobby budget is really on the squeese.
I love the Adeptus Titanicus terrain sets. Can’t wait to see what you are going to make with them.
I am lokking forward to it too. We have a very cool setting for Risi Vortapt and the terrain needs to show that.
Very, very cool.
Thank you Mark!
