Xenos henchman. Genestealer hybrid #2

+++

…if a Genestealer infects members of another species with its genotype. The resultant changes in the genome of the host cause a fanatical loyalty to the Genestealers as well as a drastic change to their reproductive system. Their firstborn children will be hybrids, a grotesque mixture of the host’s race and Genestealers. These hybrids infect further victims, and the infection spreads exponentially. Fourth generation hybrids produce Purestrain Genestealers, and the cycle starts once again..

..why have you come to me and offered your assistance..?

..our goals can be met by securing your success in this venture inquisitor..

..and how do you know of my “venture”..?

..we know..

Inquisitor Xing discussing with the Ymgarl Genestealer hybrid who has approached him offering assistance.

..the Ymgarl genestealer is unique, it can alter its flesh to react to incoming attacks or even blend into an environment like a chameleon..

..it’s claw tipped fingers can suddenly elongate and fuse together to form curved blades and barbed hooks or split apart into tentacles..

Worked a bit more on the hybrid, I think it’s nearing completion. Several details I’m very pleased with here. The buccanering eye patch and the carapace on one half of his chest. It’s a bit rough but it is supposed to be half flesh – half carapace so I’ll paint it strained and bruised.

    Great idea – the narrative possibilities of a genestealer hybrid as an inquisitorial henchman are wonderfully creepy and intriguing. The model is looking good too.

    I love the eyepatch.

  3. Wonderful work, I can’t wait to see it painted up.
