Nightvault #1

Finished the Eyes of the Nine!

Getting a tzeentch warband for Warhammer Underworlds was obvious with my love for all things tzeentch.

Artemis the All-seeing

What a lovely sculpt! Must be one of my very fav releases for tzeentch from GW in ages.

The only Change I made was removing the fugly staff. Opted away from weapons as I believe Artemis sees them as mundane and beneath him.

K’charik

Another one I didn’t mess too much with. Mostly due to the sword and not bothering to source an option to Change up the mini more.

I do like bird heads though!

Turosh

While the Kairic Acolyte masks are fine I like bare heads most of the time.

Here I added quite a few new bitz. Mostly from horrors.

Narvia

Why they went with the shield pose originally is beyond me. Why hide the first female Kairic Acolyte?

Main Change here was the arms. Tentacles can hurt you too!

Blue horror / Brimstone horrors

Had a lot of fun with these and there’s hardly an original part left!

Fun stuff!

Reading a tad on the Eyes of the Nine it looks like they’re not the best warband in the game but I dont really care about that. At least they look cool!

So gribbly! The blue and brimstone horrors are my favorite!

Yeah, I’ve heard the Eyes of the Nine aren’t that great in the game, but they also say that about my beloved Sepulchral Guard. I bought the skellies anyways because I thought the minis were great. I was I had converted mine, but I didn’t have any undead bits and then I decided to paint them up for a paint challenge with my friends.

But yeah, Eyes of the Nine are probably next on my to-buy list for Warhammer Underworlds.

Maybe an #Underworlds28 challenge in the future?

    • Cheers Casey!
For me it has always been about picking stuff I like from an aestetic perspective more than the rules. That last bit kinda sorts itself out eventually as you learn to play the hard way.

      Maybe 😊

When a warband looks this good, you’ve already won mate! Superb 🙂

Absolutely amazing! Great conversions and painting. Weird and wonderfully disturbing.

Those are ace, big improvement on the originals (which are generally pretty good in themselves).

These are really wicked. I saw them crop up on Instagram, I really like what you have done with thwm. And the use of parts.

    What. Is. Your. Paint. Recipe.

    I must know. It’s beautiful.

  7. […] Tzeentch is a big thing for me so with the release of the second season of Warhammer Underworld and with a tzeentch warband it was obvious that I’d buy and convert it in my style! […]
