Nestorian Infestation #31

We will find you..!

Somewhere, Somehow, Someday, Someway

We will find you

Anywhere, Anyhow, Anyday, Anyway

We will find you

We won’t rest until we do

But we will find you

Killigrew, apprentice of Berrugoete and shuttle crew

If you remember the first game in the Nestorian Infestation setting things did not go well for Berrugoete and they had to flee.

Now as we close in on the second game, Berrugoete needed his shuttle done and as it has been ready for ages and ages it was great getting the job done.

This is actually the first thing I’ve painted in 2018 and it was really fun tbh. Hope that shows!

In other news, infesting a populating is going red hot and I am astounded, inspired and humbled by the quantity (sheer number of miniatures) and quality of work I have seen so far! Thank you all who are chipping in and expanding our little corner of the 40k-verse ❤️

  1. Whoa man it looks awesome. The colours work well together.

Awesome job dude, that is really cool

    “What a piece of junk!”

Great work, dude. A giant chunk of metal that has no right to get off the ground. It looks like he’s just strapped engines to his office! I can hear the turbines coughing and straining, as the crew diligently sprays fire extinguishers and duct tapes burst pipes, endlessly muttering prayers of levitation.

That is a beautifully ugly ship, packed to the gunnels with character. Never mind those production-line fresh, well-maintained, characterless ships – who needs ’em? You could have an adventure in this ship!

looks brill. Reminds me of the gliders they used to drop Para’s into battle during WW2.

  6. […] posted the modified version of AoM but we got to try the latest variant with vehicle rules for the shuttle. I’ll get back to the details there in a separate post when I’m done updating AoM to […]

This is very very good! I would love to understand how you do this rusty effect. Perfect job! Cheers from Brazil!

    • Cheers mate!
      The way I paint rust is like this;
      Black basecoat
      Silver
      Ryza rust
      Oxide
Then repeat step 2-4, but a bit more random on the silver, rust and oxide.
Finish it with splotches of black and dark brown.
