First game of 40k in 2015! Pretty sweet actually, been a couple of months since I played 40k as I’ve had the fantasy bug.
Played against Oyvind aka Capt CTRL and his Nurgle army. He’s testing out a few things for a tournament and so I thought I’d test out a few things myself.
FINALLY got a game in! Really wanted to play these last weeks but it has been a ton of stuff in the way for me and any potential opponent.
Got a rematch against Klas yesterday and his beastmen army.
I think I’ve mentioned it before but I can’t remember. Still.
In my 13 first years I only played fantasy. Tried 40k, epic, WHQ but fantasy was where my heart was.
Man it’s important to get in a few games each month! I reckon several in my stage of life (full time job, kids, family) got their hands full with real world obligations. I know I have them and so do most of the guys in my club. Still it’s important to take some time off from all of that each week and get some quality nerding with friends.
